Sin Hock Kian has extensive experience in the computers and communications industry namely in the Internet Protocol (IP) telephony sector. Since 1984, he has worked on major IT related projects in Malaysia, China and Japan and has extensive experience in the design and architecture of data centers, software development, semiconductor production as well as in deployment of telecommunication networks.
Key projects included stints at Maxis Communications Berhad, IPC Corporation Ltd and Six nines Data Centres in China.
Sin also served as the principal architect for the Malaysian electronic passport production and provisioning system. He also provided consultancy on software, nano-technology, wireless communications and telecommunications sectors for Malaysian Venture Capital Management Sdn Bhd (MAVCAP). In July 2004, Sin co-founded QubeConnect Sdn Bhd with Dinesh Nair with the aim of simplifying communications. Sin is currently the chief executive officer at QubeConnect
